Michael collapsed at around the 12 mile point on the course of the 26th Great North Run on Sunday
1st October 2006.
He will be sadly missed by his friends and family

The day I'd rather forget
Hi Micky today is the day I'd rather forget but I carnt because then I'd forget you and I cannot do that for even one day you are always on my mind and in my heart. The tears still come and usually catch me unawares 3 years on and it still hurts. Hope you weren't laughing too much as I struggled up the hill today at least you let the sun shine. We will never forget you I miss you so much I like to think you are looking down on me and mine I know you are never far away. 3 Years On... Still not forgotten

Three Years
Three years today and whilst it has got easier the memories are still there. The pain will bever leave but has eased considerably. Just wish you could have been here to share the last few years and seen how yours and my kids have grown up, how the families of friends have developed around us and just laughed at the general stupidity of others.
Not to wory the world carries on but you my friend will nver be forgotton!
I'd also like to point out that every time the stars are out my little girl has to point you out! See, you still have an effect on the women !!

Hi Micky christmas eve and now all the busy buying wrapping and food preparation is done am sat waiting to play santa and as always thinking of you. Times like this when family all gets together are the worst its not the same without you. I know you're here in spirit the smiles and laughter hide the pain time doesnt make it better sometimes its worse cos you are scared you might forget little things or the memories might fade just a little. You were such a big part of the party season the smile and laughter are missed so much.
